Poker is a card game in which players place bets, called chips, into a communal pot. They may also choose to fold if they do not have a good hand. After these bets are placed, three cards are dealt face up in the center of the table. This phase is called the flop, and it\u2019s when players build their 5-card hands using these community cards.<\/p>\n
A good poker player knows how to weigh the risks and rewards of different situations.
